“Error” is an art installation that explores the concepts of awareness, collaboration, and usability through the creation of an interactive experience. At the center of the exhibit is the Flipping Table—a piece that represents the impact of our actions.
The centerpiece of the installation is a table designed for collaborative use, but with a twist—when one person removes their mug from the table, a carefully engineered mechanism causes the other mug to suddenly outbalance the table, leaving the feeling that the object is about to fall. This unexpected consequence highlights the importance of being aware of our surroundings and the potential impact our actions can have on others.
Through this interactive setup, “Error” seeks to bring awareness to the significance of mindfulness in our daily lives. By exploring the interconnectedness of our actions and the potential consequences they may have on others, the project invites viewers to reflect upon the necessity of awareness and the value of collaborative efforts.
